Hello!  I'm Onyx Sky Cosplay.

I'm a 20something-year-old cosplayer based in Arizona, USA. I started cosplaying in 2012.  My fist costume was Storm from Ultimate X-Men.  My mom did most of the sewing for this costume. I just made the arm bracers and the boot covers.

It wasn't the greatest costume.  The pants ended up being a bit too big, causing some embarrassment throughout the day, the wig wasn't meant to be pulled into a pony-tail and my boot-covers were just sad. However, I learned a lot while doing that project and I'm still proud of those arm bracers!

The summer of 2013 is when I started learning how to sew(I consider this an on-going process). Since then I make everything myself.  I'm also still very new to prop and armor building, though that doesn't stop me from taking on difficult projects(I love to challenge myself).

I also have a sister who cosplays.  She goes by JadeGrass Cosplay(previously known as Breassa/Breasa) You may see some of her work posted here.  We have some group costumes planned for the future.

This blog will be used to document my works in progress, finished costumes, tutorials, features of other cosplayers, convention reviews, product reviews etc.  Basically all things cosplay related and maybe a little bit of everyday life stuff(because I'm also human...).
